Level 1
Hafidh and student of Islamic sciences. Completed advanced tajweed and maqamat studies in Cairo, Egypt under Al-Azhar scholars. Holds ijazah in Hafs and Shu'ba readings.
Sh Hosam Helal
Level 2
Distinguished scholar and imam. Memorized Quran in Egypt, holds multiple ijazat in Quranic recitation. Advanced degrees from Al-Azhar University and University of Toronto.
Ust Adam Rahim
Level 3
Accomplished Quran teacher with extensive experience mentoring hundreds of students. Studied Arabic and tajweed in Egypt, advancing toward ijazah in Quranic recitation.

Ustadh Adam was born and raised in the United States. He has always had a love of learning and memorizing the Quran. He has studied Arabic language and Tajweed in Egypt, achieving a certificate in Arabic language and currently pursuing ijaazah in Quran. He has years of teaching experience, from local madrasahs, to private students, and has taught hundreds of students as a Quran Coach at Al-Maghrib's Quran Flow Program
Ustadh Adeeb Zaman obtained an undergraduate degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from Hunter College with a minor in Arabic language. He then took the bold step to memorize the Quran and further his Arabic and Islamic education in Turkey and Egypt, obtaining several ijaazaat. He has a certificate in Islamic Studies and Arabic Language from the Ihsan Institute for Arabic, Quran, and Islamic Studies in Turkey and is a graduate of Al-Azhar University with a degree in Islamic Studies and Arabic. He has been an active imam, khateeb, and teacher at Masjid As-Siddiq in Queens, NY since completing his studies.
With over a decade of experience in teaching the Quran, Ustadha Alaa is committed to nurturing a love for its recitation and memorization among students of all levels. She is currently pursuing her ijaazah in Quranic recitation and memorization, building upon her completion of an intensive revision program, during which she solidified her memorization of the entire Quran within a year and a half. Her dedication lies in both perfecting her own recitation and inspiring others to strengthen their connection with the Quran.
Ustadha Rabia Siddique lives in Pakistan and spent her childhood learning the Quran from her local Qari Saheb in her hometown of Lahore. Upon completing Dentistry and M.Phil in Molecular Pathology in 2019, she registered with AlMaghrib Institute as a Quran student. After steadily making it through all levels, including the most advanced courses in 2023, she joined the team of Quran Coaches. Ustadha Rabia feels like she and her students make a great team, helping each other and working together to allow the Quran to flow through us all!
Ustadha Radwa is an Egyptian mother of 5. She completed her Hifdh of the Quran in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at a young age and holds an ijaazah in qiraat Hafs ‘an ‘Asim. Her biggest motivation is the prophet’s hadith describing the people of the Quran as Allah's own people and His close ones. She began helping young children study Quran and Islamic Studies in her local Masjid in her teenage years. She is a graduate of the faculty of Arts ‘Ain Shams University in Cairo, where she continues to reside.
Ustadhah Rania is Egyptian but currently resides in Turkey. She completed her Quran memorization 7 years ago in Saudi Arabia before moving to Istanbul with her family. She has a Bachelor’s in English education from ‘Ain Shams University in Cairo. Her greatest motivation is the Hadith, "The best among you are those who learn the Quran and teach it to others" and has continued her own Quran journey by studying the ten qiraa’at.
Born and raised in Sri Lanka, Ustadha Reema developed a deep love for the Quran from a very young age. She studied Tajweed and Quranic studies under several certified teachers and is currently on her journey of memorizing the Quran. With over four years of experience in Quran coaching, she has taught both adults and children, guiding them to connect with the words of Allah in a meaningful way. Her greatest joy lies in inspiring others to build a lifelong connection with the Quran. Outside the classroom, she enjoys learning, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Ustadhah Reham was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt and graduated from Al-Azhar University, Faculty of Humanitarian Studies, English Department. Arabic is her mother tongue, and she has been granted multiple ijaazaat in Quranic recitation, in addition to an ijaazah in Qaida Nooraniya. With over fifteen years of experience in teaching Quran, Tajweed, and Tafseer, she is dedicated to helping students perfect their recitation and deepen their understanding of the Quran.
As a schoolgirl in Saudi Arabia, Ustadha Yasmine regularly spent her afternoons and summers attending Quran classes, completing formal Tajweed instruction there. She received her Bachelor's in Elementary Education from La Salle University then focused on Islamic education, attending over 30 AlMaghrib seminars. She has received ijazahs in al-’Ashr al-Sughra and in Al-Imam Al-Jazri's poetic treatise on Tajweed. She enjoys exploring the wonders of Allah's Book surrounded by her beloved students.
Ustadh Zawar has studied and obtained an ijazah in Hafs-an-Asim as well as ijazahs in al-’Ashr al-Sughra and al-’Ashr al-Kubra. He graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering. After living and working in the United States for many years, he moved to Canada. He has previously taught al-’Ashr al-Sughra and al-’Ashr al-Kubra ijazah reading and currently teaches Tajweed as well as qiraa’at.

What is Quran Flow, actually?
Quran Flow is a semester-based, skill-building program designed to help you learn to recite the Book of Allah as easily as humanly possible—no complicated terminology, no elaborate grammatical explanations, just a simple “here, do this” approach. Your learning journey includes short weekly on-demand lessons, simple assignments you record at your convenience, 1-on-1 access to your personal Quran Coach, expert feedback that pinpoints your strengths and areas for improvement, and a range of weekly live sessions to choose from—all available through our dedicated Quran Flow app. The program is divided into 16-week levels, and by the end of each semester, most students level up their skills and hit major milestones in reading fluency and accuracy.
What if I'm just too busy and have a changing weekly schedule?
Don’t worry—we’ve got you covered! This program is built specifically for busy people who need structure but require flexibility. The learning system is designed to be robust, so even if you get swamped some weeks, you can always pick up where you left off with minimal catching up to do.
Are there any prerequisites for joining this program?
No prerequisites required! Whether you’re completely new to the Arabic script or a lifelong reader looking to polish your recitation, we meet you where you are and help you move forward.
I'm nervous to read out loud. What if I make mistakes?
This is exactly why we founded Quran Flow—to address the “recitation anxiety” many people have experienced with overly strict or critical teachers in the past. We offer a judgment-free, encouraging space where you decide when you feel ready to read. If this feels like a particularly difficult barrier, we can always provide additional support to help you get comfortable.
How much time do I need to set aside weekly to see progress?
This varies by student! Some do great with just their weekly lessons and assignments—around 30 minutes total per week—while others need more practice and guidance. But even with the bare minimum, you’ll still progress and, most importantly, build habit and continuity.
Is this program suitable for children?
Quran Flow is tailored for adult learners. We recommend enrollment only for children 15 and above.
Can I choose whether my assigned Quran Coach is male or female?
By default, students are assigned Quran Coaches of the same gender.
What time zones are the live sessions offered in?
Since Quran Flow serves a global audience, live sessions are scheduled throughout the week (weekends included) at various times, so everyone can find classes that work for their schedule.
What devices/platforms does the Quran Flow App work on?
The Quran Flow App is available for both Android and iOS. For weekly lessons and live classes, we also have a student portal accessible through any browser.
Are there only four levels?
The initial four levels make up our Quran Flow Essentials program. Graduates of Level 4 can join our advanced program, which offers specialized curriculum to help you explore advanced tajweed, memorization, recitation beautification, or other aspects of Quranic recitation you’re most passionate about.
